Wouldn't it be cool if sims could call up a friend with high mechanical skill to come fix something for free? And, of course, whether or not they say yes would be based on relationship. It would be like real life. If you have a buddy who's good at things, why pay for it right?

You know what? My sim kids need super hero outfits! Preferably with capes! Man, if only I wasn't so hopeless with meshing. I've been looking around and I haven't found anything even close yet.

I just made my first default replacement for the Sims 2. Successfully! I feel like doing a happy dance. I also figured out all kinds of interesting photoshoppy type things... okay, maybe just one but it was helpful. :) So first I made successful recolors that did not end up with crunchy textures and then I used them to default replace some basegame ( Read more... )

Time to redo my downloads folder! There are so many new things out there and I want it all but... well 8+ gigs of custom content is probably too much. There's so much in clothing that, even with how fast this new computer scrolls through, I rarely ever look through it all ( Read more... )

My sims game looks so awesome. I have bump maps. It's crazy... So now I guess I have to start the long drawn out process of extracting sims so I can rebuild the Novaris Neighborhood? It won't be exactly the same as playing straight through though. :-( I'm not sure if you can do that with ghosts? Oh well, I'll think on it.

I have sims again! There is sound! First time every hearing the music in some of the newer neighborhoods. LOL Funny how you miss the little things. And how you get used to the lack of those little things... :-D
